Dr. Steve Zvonar is a certified health coach and a Doctor of Chiropractic with a particular focus on the discipline of Functional Medicine. He has been in private practice for 30 years specializing in holistic treatment for neuromuscular conditions, chronic diseases and body/brain health. He currently practices in Chisago City, MN.
Steve is an experienced speaker on such topics as natural health and nutrition, health and life coaching, and thriving through stress. He is an annual speaker at the MARRCH conference in St Paul, MN and a regular guest lecturer at Metro State University. He has presented at number of other conferences and trainings locally and nationally on the topic of prevention of drug and alcohol abuse, and problem gambling.
Steve is also an associate with SheRay’s and Associates, LLC, in Los Angeles California and the Northstar Problem Gambling Alliance in St Paul, MN. As an associate, he does national trainings in the prevention of older adult alcohol and substance abuse as well as older adult problem gambling.
Thomas M. Griffin, Ph.D. M.S.W.
Tom Griffin is an independent consultant following his retirement as Associate Executive Director of the Minnesota Institute of Public Health. Tom has 45 years of experience in a variety of leadership roles in education and public health, including Supervisor of Drug Education for the Minnesota Department of Education and Manager of Community and Professional Education for the Hazelden Foundation. He has also taught courses for the Rutgers University Center of Alcohol Studies since 1984.
Tom has directed program evaluations at the national, state, and community levels and has contributed to more than 75 publications. Much of his evaluation work emphasized multi-method participatory approaches that emphasized use of findings to improve programs, policies, and practices. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Administration with a specialty in evaluation studies and a M.S.W. from the University of Minnesota. Tom is also an Associate with SheRay’s and Associates, LLC.
